Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pattern Maker of Bras for a direct hire opportunity in Chatsworth, CA. This full-time, in-office role supports a growing product development team within the clothing and textile manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on women’s intimate apparel, bras, and related apparel categories.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented patternmaking professional who enjoys working closely with design, technical design, and production teams to bring garments from concept through bulk production. The role offers a collaborative corporate headquarters environment, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality apparel development across bras, underwear, dresses, tops, pants, kids, and women’s garments.

Key Responsibilities

- Create women’s apparel production patterns using Lectra software, including bras, underwear, dresses, tops, and pants.
- Interpret designer sketches through draping and computer patternmaking methods to develop accurate first patterns.
- Work with a variety of fabrics, including knits, rayon, wool, cotton, lace, and embroidered materials.
- Create sewing specifications and garment measurement specifications for factory production.
- Develop and update Tech Packs in Excel, including specs, grade rules, pattern CADs, and construction callouts.
- Inspect graded nests, review size ranges, evaluate fit, and make corrections from first pattern through production.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $85,000 to $100,000 per year.

Additional Skills

- Must have patternmaking experience with bras.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the garment industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment fitting, measuring, sewing, and mass production construction methods.
- Experience creating patterns for women’s apparel categories such as intimates, underwear, dresses, tops, and pants.
- Ability to work with knits, rayon, wool, cotton, lace, embroidery fabrics, and other apparel materials.
- Proficiency with Lectra software is required.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced product development environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Illustrator is a plus.
- Experience with intimate apparel, kids, and women’s garment sizing is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Tech Pack development, graded specs, factory sewing instructions, and production communication.
