Job Title: 1st Shift Clean Room Assembler Job Description

This role focuses on assembling neurosurgical sponges in a clean room environment using a thread and sewing needle. You will perform highly repetitive, detail-oriented work that directly supports the production of medical devices. Success in this position requires excellent hand dexterity, careful adherence to work instructions, and a strong commitment to quality and consistency.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble neurosurgical sponges in a clean room using a thread and sewing needle according to established procedures.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use basic hand tools safely and correctly during the assembly process.
  • Handle medical device components carefully to maintain cleanliness and integrity.
  • Inspect assembled products visually to identify and report any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness at the workstation in accordance with clean room protocols.
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Document work as required and follow all production and clean room guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to support smooth production flow.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean room medical device manufacturing environment. The clean room setting requires adherence to strict cleanliness and procedural standards, including specific gowning and attire appropriate for controlled environments. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
