Woodland Hills Wine Company is a well-established wine shop in the San Fernando Valley, close to Los Angeles, CA. We carry an extremely impressive inventory of well-known and unique wine selections, as well as a large selection of craft spirits from around the world. After 45 years in business, we are a staple in the wine community and have a very large customer base both in person and online.

About the Job
We are currently seeking an ambitious and energetic sales associate with vast knowledge in wine, and the desire to learn more! This job has excellent potential for growth and the possibilities are endless.
Specific duties include but not limited to:
•  Provide sales assistance and make product recommendations with confidence.
•  Maintain accurate sales records using Point-of-Sale software system.
•  Assist in the preparation of customer orders for shipment or will call pickups.
•  Assist with telephone and email inquiries as needed.
•  Participate in vendor tastings in-store to further expand knowledge to sell specific products.
•  Provide memorable guest experiences to continue our standard of customer service.

Job Requirements:
•  Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
•  2+ years of experience working in the wine industry, or comparable positions may also be considered.
•  Prior hospitality, and/or strong customer service skills in past job history
•  Must maintain a professional attitude and have excellent attention to detail.
•  Must be able to work weekends.
•  Must work well and communicate effectively with team members.
•  Must be able to lift, carry and/or transport up to 45 pounds.
•  Computer skills and experience required.
•  Ability to work independently, self-directed, and highly motivated.

Job Type: Full-Time *Currently hiring for full-time but may also consider part-time for the right candidate
