The General Production Worker supports cradle-to-grave manufacturing of magnet wire products on fully automated production lines. In this role, you handle raw materials, set up and monitor automated equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure product quality from start to finish. You work safely and independently, focusing on material handling, visual and dimensional inspections, and accurate documentation while the automated lines perform the majority of the physical work.
ResponsibilitiesYou join a growing company in a clean, modern manufacturing environment where the industry and facility are both expanding, creating long-term career and financial growth opportunities. Once you convert to full-time employment, you become eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, 11 paid holidays, and paid breaks while on-site. Over time, your pay increases at defined milestones, and you can reach competitive hourly rates within your first year of full-time employment. After six months as a full-time employee, you receive paid vacation days, and you benefit from a structured attendance recognition program that offers rewards for consistent, reliable attendance. The organization provides weekly pay once you are full-time and supports ongoing training, including forklift certification and cross-training on advanced automated equipment, helping you build valuable skills and advance your career.
Work EnvironmentThe facility is a very clean, traditional manufacturing environment that focuses on safety, organization, and efficiency. Automated production lines handle the majority of the physical work, reducing strain on the body and allowing operators to focus on monitoring and quality. Some areas of the plant can be loud and hot, depending on the department and proximity to equipment such as vertical ovens, so hearing protection and other safety measures are used as needed. The site is actively growing, with plans to expand the building, add warehouse space, and install new production lines, creating a dynamic and evolving workplace. Work is performed on 12-hour shifts following a 2/2/3 schedule, with a first shift from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a third shift from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Operators use technologies and equipment such as fully automated magnet wire production lines, HMI touchscreens, overhead cranes, forklifts, hand tools, and measuring devices. The environment reflects a structured, non-union manufacturing culture with clear processes and expectations, where employees are expected to follow safety guidelines and maintain a neat, orderly work area.
